The Regency style ebony and gilt George Bullock Pedestal Table has a circular top decorated in matched ebony veneer and inlaid with a border of satinwood laurel wreaths. The top rests on a turned and molded baluster shaped stem, its length carved and gilded in a floral design. Three short tapering and curved legs set with ebony veneer and carved on the knee in gilded floral paterae terminate in gilded ball feet. English c. 1810.
